Features and Applications of PC Embossed Sheet

Polycarbonate embossed sheet, also known as PC textured sheet or PC granular sheet, is a high-performance engineering plastic sheet produced from 100% virgin polycarbonate resin with a special embossed surface. It combines excellent physical properties, decorative effect and long service life, making it widely used in construction, lighting, electronics and decoration fields.

In terms of features, PC solid embossed sheet has outstanding impact resistance, which is 250 times stronger than glass and 30 times stronger than acrylic. It is unbreakable, shatterproof and highly safe for daily use. The unique granular or textured surface provides excellent light diffusion performance, making light soft and uniform without glare, while effectively hiding scratches and improving surface wear resistance. It has superior UV resistance and weatherability, with a UV co-extruded layer that blocks ultraviolet rays, prevents yellowing, aging and fading, and maintains stable performance in a temperature range of -40℃ to 120℃.

This material is lightweight and easy to process, with half the weight of glass, reducing transportation and installation costs. It can be cut, drilled, cold-formed and thermoformed freely to meet different design needs. PC embossed sheet also has good flame retardancy, reaching UL94 V-0 level, with self-extinguishing performance and no dripping, meeting fire safety requirements. In addition, it has excellent electrical insulation, sound insulation and heat insulation properties, non-toxic and environmentally friendly, suitable for long-term indoor and outdoor use.

For application scenarios, PC diamond embossed sheet is widely used in lighting diffusers, LED lamp shades, lighting covers and light boxes, providing soft and comfortable lighting effects. It is an ideal material for indoor and outdoor decoration, such as wall panels, ceiling panels, partitions, doors and windows. In the field of electronics and electrical appliances, it is used for instrument panels, equipment shells and protective covers.
